CINQUE TERRE TOUR
DURATION: FULL DAY - 8 HOURS
The CINQUE TERRE are 5 (cinque!) unique coastal villages in the region of Liguria. The coastline, the five villages and the surrounding hillsides are all within a national park of the same name, and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The 5 villages are, RIOMAGGIORE, MANAROLA, CORNIGLIA, VERNAZZA and MONTEROSSO AL MARE.
On arrival at the 1st town, RIOMAGGIORE, we will walk together the famous “Via Del Amore”, or “Lovers Lane” which leads to the second town MANAROLA. This beautiful path is approximately 1km long, and will take no longer than 30 min to complete.
After some sightseeing and maybe gift shopping in MANAROLA, it will nearly be time for lunch! We suggest you take the ferry (weather permitting) to the 4th town VERNAZZA. The 3rd town CORNIGLIA we shall visit later on the way back in the minivan.

In the characteristic town of VERNAZZA you can find many options for lunch, you can taste the famous anchioves from the 5 terre or the tasty pesto sauce, along with the refreshing white wine (vino bianco delle 5 terre). While you are enjoying your lunch and free time in Vernazza, your driver will be on his way back to Riomaggiore to collect the vehicle and will meet you in Vernazza.
On the way back we will stop briefly in the 3rd town of Corniglia, perhaps just enough time to enjoy a gelato and take a few photos of the breathtaking views! Please note that all 5 towns are connected by rail. The ferry service is subject to the weather and sea conditions and connects all of the towns apart from CORNIGLIA. Please make sure to bring comfortable walking shoes or sneakers, and your swimming costume for a dip in the beautiful Ligurian sea!
