Cinque Terre Tour
The Cinque Terre are five unique coastal villages located in the region of Liguria. The coastline, the villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of a national park of the same name and are now recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The five villages are: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso al Mare.
Please remember to bring comfortable walking shoes or sneakers, and even your swimming costume if you would like to take a dip in the beautiful Ligurian Sea.
After driving approximately two hours from Florence, we will arrive in the Cinque Terre. Once there, you can discuss with your driver the best way to enjoy your visit, depending on the weather conditions and whether the local ferry is operating.
For lunch, your driver can recommend a local trattoria, as there are many options where you can sample the typical cuisine of the region, including the famous anchovies and delicious pesto, not to mention the refreshing local white wine (vino bianco delle Cinque Terre).
Your driver will assist you with purchasing any necessary tickets for either the train or ferry, and will provide all the information you need to enjoy your self-guided visit before meeting again at the arranged time and place to begin your return journey to Florence.
